Let your creativity shine!
Being creative can be one of the most important things to a person.
And I am one of those people.
I love seeing art from people, no matter what form it's in, no matter if you’re a new artist, an experienced artist, self taught, or have a degree.
Taking the time to feel inspired, to feel creative, to get that urge to make something amazing, is such a talent that ANYONE can hone.
And before you say you don't know how to draw, or you don't know where to start, don't worry.
Artwork is not only through drawing, it can be in writing, in sculpting, in photography, in dance, in music, in theatre and so much more. Art is everywhere, and it's such an important part of our lives, and we don't even realise it sometimes.
Whether it's through a random advertisement you see on TV.
Or it's through a random street performer playing songs on a single instrument.
Or it’s through a pantomime you saw once.
So don't be afraid to create, and don't be afraid to be creative.
To experienced artists out there, don't be afraid to experiment with new mediums of art.
Want to start experimenting with clay or resin? Do it!
Have you wanted to try making art with something other than a pen? Do it!
Don't be afraid to try something new!
And for new artists, or artists just starting out.
Don't be afraid to take that first step into creating. It will take time, it WILL be a slippery slope. But once you find what works for you, once you find what medium works for you, just run with it.
Develop that skill further, and one day, you’ll be able to look back on your work, and admire all the past attempts you made, and see the steps you made to get to where you are today.
So pick up that pen.
Grab that chunk of clay.
Pick up that fabric and needle.
Go buy those dancing shoes.
Get that script or story edited.
You never know what your capable of, until you try.
