This is a commission I received from my friend Kinjouten for a maneki neko.
He wanted me to create a little beckoning cat in the likeness of his beloved kitten, Yuki. So here she is as a maneki neko, otherwise known as a Japanese beckoning cat or Japanese good fortune cat. She holds a little golden coin shaped like a heart to symbolize love. I included smaller images of Yuki for people to see what she looks like alongside the little neko sculpture.
If anyone would like their animal companions maneki neko-ized, I am taking commissions. Contact me for more information.
