The Acolyte (SCRAPPED)
Occultism is a dangerous thing. It’s how Cybil’s father became a husk of a man, and how he was indoctrinated into it. Cybil lost a father to a cult… but summoned another.

This story was meant to be a thing of Gods and humans getting along, very reminiscent of Sucker for Love: Date to Die For though more of the god being a father figure than anything. Shov’klecka is just the first bullshit name I could think of, and I based his design loosely off of @B00_Rad’s sona. I originally started with the part about Cybil killing Lindsey and his father and summoning the god in December of 2024 in a magma, and then worked on it on and off from there. It was pretty linear, but when I got to the part where Cybil actually met the god and talked I didn’t know where to go. There were so many semantics that I hadn’t considered, such as why is he doing this, how will the police be handled, how they build a bond (especially initially), where it leads up to in a second part (where I was planning on Cybil potentially being ascended to godhood, whether tricked or convinced). Paired with my dwindling motivation, I ended up just scrapping it. Still, I wanted to post it so I could have something “spooky” for Halloween, like I did with Inked in Blood last year.
So, as it stands, enjoy what I have now, feel free to expand on this idea if you so wish. Happy Halloween 2025!
Above kinda explains all there is to it already. This was supposed to be a more serious, big piece but ended up losing steam on. Happy spooky season, enjoy this scrapped story while I get back on my feet with the writing stuff.
