I feel like once I draw a character, I'm more likely to draw that character again over other similar characters. For example, Freya here has kinda become my go-to Animal Crossing subject.

I guess it's just easier to re-draw a character that I've already worked out the details of.

On the other hand, drawing a new character can also be easier because there's no pressure to meet the standard of previous drawings. Sometimes I get completely blocked while drawing my usual Pichus or Eevees, because I feel like they aren't looking enough like my Pichus or Eevees.
