The Novaverna is an extremely dangerous species of wyvern native to the grasslands of Shangrila. It displays highly aggressive behavior towards anything it sees as an intruder on its territory. While it isn't as large as the Tempest Wyvern, it has an arguably more powerful breath weapon: radiant breath.

The Novaverna is a rare instance of a creature with a strong affinity towards light magic. While incapable of casting complex spells, it can use some variations of orally produced projectiles (single energy bolts, exploding balls of energy, etc). Its most potent attack is a literal laser breath that can even punch a hole through the hide of an adult Juggernaut Wyvern.

Due to its volatile nature, little else is known about this particular wyven. Research will continue once the investigative teams determine a safe way to monitor the behavior of this species.
