My first plan for day 9 was meeting up with a friend in Columbia South Carolina, author L. Carson Woody. We talked about their book (Surviving Child, now available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Surviving-Ch...../dp/B0D3NBHZ5K ),upcoming books, and horses (they work on a ranch).

We lunched at Burger Tavern 77. All I got was a tin of their rosemary, garlic, and cracked pepper fries. They were amazing, I just wish I hade more room to try one of their legendary burgers. I also wish I had stayed longer. Georgia was the other objective, so I had to skidaddle after lunch, but came crashing into... (to be continued in the second picture)
