This is a rather old piece but I still look back on it fondly. This was back when I used to spend weeks working on a single image and was really still trying to learn how to color (the struggle continues, alas). Oddly enough, I can look back on this image and still remember working on it like it was yesterday.

Drew this during a week when I was apart from my, now, ex-gf. I'd said some things and hadn't been very understanding of some of her concerns and, as such, she got rather upset with me and we didn't talk for that week. So, during that time I did this. Eventually, she forgave me and we stayed together, more or less, for the next four years - up until a few months ago. Ah well...

I hope you all enjoy the image. I still love some of the work in this piece.
