"Where were you this morning?" Pam's words were cold like bed-rock.
Drew fumbled slightly. He hadn't expected her to find him, and now that she had, he was off-guard, "Oh, A-Annaro wanted-" A lie, of course. He just needed some time away from Pam. She had become quite overbearing over the last few weeks.
"She is the MISTRESS! Don't you dare say her name!!"
Drew blinked, confused and uncertain, "W-What?"
"You were supposed to be there in the morning." Pam immediately spoke past him, as if her own previous statement had barely existed, "Like I planned for the child's health."
Drew knew what she was talking about; some sort of brief exercise session. Of course he knew it would be good, but it was also exhausting and it was just one-day. Just a break for one day... "I-I said..."
"This child WILL be born perfect."
Drew felt his skin grow cold and he tried to inch away from her, before she reached out, one hand on his shoulder, and the other over his increasingly round belly, pinning him in place, "P-Pam, you're scare-
"You don't deserve this privilege." Her voice dropped lower; colder still as she leaned close, "You're a waste of flesh. Discounting your blessings. You should be serving her constantly! Maintaining yourself with a dignity befitting her! You can't even speaking without 's-s-stuttering'!! You're petulant! You should be better!! And the fact that you aren't..."
Her glare was cruel, consuming even. Drew only just realized how much he was shaking. Was... Was she right? Maybe... But... but even so... He wasn't sure what to do, so he just nodded softly, doing his best not to burst into tears, "I'm... I'm sorry."
That seemed to be the right move. Pam immediately relaxed, pulling away slightly murmuring, "...Be better. Or, I'll make you do it myself."
"...Yes."
"...Come on then. Lets get back to it."
Gasp, Pam's a psycho? Who could've seen it coming?
How much worse is this going to get?
Stay tuned to find out~
