#OC-Tober Prompt 6: Modernization
Pokemon Legends ZA edition of my Hisuian Zoroark inspired Hex Maniac.
Originally intended to be a stressed out office worker to explain what appeared to be the bags under their eyes (from what I could glean of the ZA Hex concept art?) until I heard there was literally a Hisui museum in the game and decided they’d work better as the curator there. Not sure what her name should be, if anyone has any suggestions feel free to offer.
Lore wise she is an immigrant to Kalos and has no idea why she is haunted (it’s her mother’s fault). Wears glasses because she thinks her eyesight is bad when in reality she keeps reaching for illusions that aren’t there. Incredibly distraught and nervous failgirl but is incredibly knowledgeable in history due to believing she is afflicted with a family curse and is hoping to break it one day. Incredibly dangerous when angered.
Setting ambivalent but can exist in the Pokemon Magical Girl/Veiled Cults setting, since at this point her ancestor is canonically one of the first Veiled Cultists. Probably would be a sidekick to Edna on account of the Celebi Mirage having known her family in the past (as an adversary, but that would never be brought up).
