I see too many people on message boards and the like, starting threads about "Which is better? Pokemon or Digimon", and personally, I don't think there should be an option.
For as long as I can remember, I've always loved both Pokemon AND Digimon, almost equally, if not so. They are very different, and yet still very alike, and I like both series for different individual reasons:

I own Pokemon video games, soundtracks, movies, clothes, and plushies, but I also own Digimon soundtracks, movies, have rented the theatrical movie before, and various little plushies from Dairy Queen, from back when the movie was initially released.

To me, there is no debate which series is better - I love them both. And what better way to exploit that opinion, than to draw my two favorite original starter monsters, shaking hands and coming to an agreement? <3
