Pot hydras are quite absent minded creatures they tend to dwell in ruins and caves, they are carnivorous eating small insects and scavenge any meat available but never engaging in fights unless it’s among themselves. The pot is actually an eggshell despite how it looks it’s really sturdy and so are the hydra too it’s best not to get too close when the heads flail around as that’s the hardest part of their body besides the pots they wear.
