I have always wanted to take a nap using Butterscotch as a pillow. He would not lay down when I was around. It took me a week of planing just to get this photo of him laying down and me sitting next to him. If you look close you can see me holding his right hoof preventing him from standing up. How I got this photo is I asked a family member to meet me at the stables with a camera at a certain time. Hours before that I got Butterscotch ready for a very long ride. I times my ride to end when the person arrived with the camera. I took all of his tack off and took him to an arena so he could role in the dirt to dry up the sweat and to get all of them itches. As he finished I sat down next to him grabbed his hoof so he could not stand up and had some photos snapped. After I had a couple of photos snapped I let go of his hoof allowing him to stand and then I took him to the tack shed and proceeded to brush him.

You are right that you might not be correct in you guess. He was a old school Morgen. You can kinda see the big chest of the old school Morgen in the photo. As for the other signs they are not so easily seen in the photo.
The correct address would have been "was" and not "is" since later this month on the 27th at 8:30 am PST it will be half a decade since he passed away.

The photo is something like fifteen years old. About four years or so ago I scanned it and other photos of him into a computer and made a digital image of it.
His remains are in a wood urn that sits on its own table in my bedroom. As for his soul I have always hoped that he was in a place that he would enjoy greatly. As for the stories of the rainbow bridge I hope that is not true since I would like to believe he went to heaven and that I will be going in the other direction and will be burning in hell for all eternity.
