Original Species: Prickly Chub-Chub
The Prickly Chub-Chub is another small wyvern native to the densest forests of Northern Shangrila. Its predominantly green coloration allows this small reptile to hide among the greenery effortlessly. Like its blue relative, it is mainly insectivorous, hunting for small bugs among the trees. On occasion, members of this species have been observed to eat flowers and fruit.
Aside from the green coloration of its scales, this wyvern's only defense consists of several small quills jutting out of its head and back. It's usually enough to deter smaller predators from attacking it... usually, but not always.
