The Universe 5 (第５宇宙 Dai go Uchū), the Balanced Universe (バランスの宇宙 Baransu no Uchū), is the fifth of the twelve universes in the Dragon Ball series. It includes planets, stars, and a large number of galaxies. Universe 5 is linked with Universe 8, creating a twin universe. Universe 5 is one of the four universes that have an average mortal level above 7 on Zeno's scale. Thus, its inhabitants, both mortal and divine, are exempt from being erased, along with the inhabitants of Universes 1, 8, and 12. It is the universe with the third highest mortal level.



The God of Destruction of Universe 5 is Arak, the Supreme Kai is Ogma, and the Angel is Cukatail.



It is a Republic of Teaurria, Teaurrian Humans, Sounah's Neighborhood and Sounah System exist in Universe 5.
