I think I might go with the left example. The one on the right has darker shades and looks fine, but I like the brighter tints on the left. They match the game sprites more closely too.
Had wanted to make the other top and bottom facing models but ended up not having enough time on hand, so might try to make this today.

See that's why I'm on the fence about this. The bright colors on the left better match what I've experience from the game, but the darker shades on the right look more natural.
There's no real way to split the difference either. I've tried.
Might just end up with the right side version, but we'll see. xD
