The scrunkly orphan kitty has been officially adopted and is currently living happily on a farm! :P
(this is a sequel to this other post from a few days ago, since many people asked for it https://www.furaffinity.net/view/62618357/ )
Considering he spent most of his childhood in a city under siege, the new place must be like heaven to him, with so many things to see and learn. Old Soldier also seems quite content with his new life, though parenting a mentally scarred kid of a different species can't be easy!
(Side note, I think snails are delicious, and they are eaten quite often where I live, but I also think they are too cute to kill :P )

Many years later, the snail (and bird and firefly) population in this place thrives due to orphan catboy's efforts to nurture the small creatures.
(The firefly weren't on purpose, their larva eat snails and benefited from their numbers and the smarter birds figured out how to smash them on rocks)
While locals consider them a minor nuisance and newcomers think they're a huge annoyance, there can be no denying that they are a part of the history and ecology of the area.

Might I recommend Snail Simulator? Seriously, though, snails are too charming to be eaten.
