So! My old game with Vruhm is understandably no longer being played, but with that same group I've been playing in a Daggerheart game with the Motherboard rules, and so far it's been fun. With the species rules you can mix and match traits between certain playable types, and this guy here is half dwarf/half simiah - and I'm sure you can figure out what the second part of that is.
Erol here is from the ridges surrounding the Echo Vale, a land of former high technology being reclaimed by nature. The clans in the ridges have decided to follow suit, trying to eschew as much technology and live with the land as much as they're able. Though they can't entirely escape it - they still need Quantum to power some devices; a resource both used as currency and energy when needed.
As such, Erol descended the ridges to find work among the people there. His major strengths is the insane amount of durability he has; coupled with his Ikonis "Vanguard", he sells himself as a bodyguard to protect travelers, merchants, and even postal workers throughout the totality of the Vale.
What's an Ikonis you ask? Well hopefully I can get a picture of that sometime soon!
The art of course is done by the always fantastic Forestgoblin (https://bsky.app/profile/neo-kajatrash.bsky.social) - they have been one of my favorite artists to follow and work with for years now.
But yeah - as much as I love simian characters, to finally have one I'm playing with? It's a good thing.
