Moonlit Mischief
As the clock strikes midnight a cold chill waves through the air, the sky pitch black as the only sound that can be heard is the cawing of crows in the distance that even then were almost drowned out from the cacophony of rain and thunder. Due to it all the streets were completely devoid of any life, not a single soul to be seen making the natural sounds feel almost deafening as they echoed throughout the cold autumn night. It was halloween and although usually cheer and laughter never seemed to cease regardless of the weather, here it seemed almost abandoned. It wasn’t that there were no houses to trick or treat or any grand houses to have a party but simply one big factor that lay in the center of that street.
A giant mansion that laid abandoned for decades, a place eroded by time as it looked like it could fall apart at any moment from the various tears and bruises in its dark oak wood. Stained glass windows from an era long forgotten shattered and statues of gargoyles that lay ruined from its own foundation falling apart. All of this ruined and lost long beauty lied hidden past an eerie black fence, spikes jutting out from the top making it look unwelcome to any visitors who wish to appreciate such a place.
It was only natural that such an unpleasant and eerie place would begin to bring about rumors surrounding it, “The Mansion Of Queen Violet” was its given name by the public. It was rumored that a queen used to live in that place and that its beauty used to be the talk of the town, the only thing surpassing it being her own. She lived a prosperous life and was loved by all until one day she met a witch, someone who quickly became more popular than them and became more well-loved than her in an instant. Her own charms were from something more grand than their appearance and wealth; it was instead her skills, a witch who made potions to help with all sorts of illnesses and a teacher of magic.
The queen couldn’t accept the attention being taken from them so they plotted an attempt to destroy their reputation, taking one of their potions and pretending to act like they were poisoned from her. She saw through the farce right away but the townspeople believed the queen’s word over the wandering witch and so she was quickly exiled as a monster. In her fury she cursed the queen, “If you value your oh so called beauty so much, i’ll show everyone the beauty that lies within your heart.” With that the queen was turned into a monster and began to cry a horrible cry, she tried to ask for help from the townspeople but they were terrified by her new appearance. Instead they went against her and sealed her in her own mansion away from the world, as she passed away alone from her hunger her soul remained trapped there.
“And now it lies as a vengeful spirit that’ll haunt the mansion for all eternity. O-or so it says.” Right in front of that mansion lie two figures that flash in the appearance of lightning, two friends who came here to check out that rumor. One of them, Tart, a white like snow carbuncle with ears like ribbons. Due to the occasion a cloak of pitch black mixed with crimson wraps over them to simulate being a vampire. The other a violet dragon with pastel colorings straight out of a dream, Nemurin. They have a little witch hat along with a similar black cloak of their own mixed with a deep violet. The two of them stand there motionlessly as they simply gaze in awe at the intimidating yet magnificent mansion before them, barred not only by the pitch black gate but a bit of nervousness regarding the stories as well. As Tart speaks about the rumor his voice shudders along with his body shaking from anxiety, the sight before them accompanied by the depressing weather and the occasional thunder didn’t leave the best of impressions on the poor guy. He didn’t do too well with ghost stories and practically anyone could tell that from just looking at him.
“Pssh, it’ll be fineeee! Don’t worry, Tart!” On the other hand though, Nemurin wasn’t scared in the slightest from the rumors if not excited, as their eyes looked towards the dreadful sight they filled with stars and imagined the possibilities.Such a scary location was the perfect place to spend Halloween, along with it too a particular prospect did intrigue them about the place. “Besides, you never know. Such a place can even have candy inside for us! I heard that the people who used to live here actually used to have a biiiig sweet tooth hehe.”
Nemurin didn’t have any fear of this place but instead excitement because of the prospect of finding candy, although the chance slim and a somewhat strange place to find something like that they seemed to believe whole-heartedly that it could be there. While Tart shaked from worry, Nemurin did from anticipation.
“Are you sure…? That doesn’t seem very likely. Also I feel there’s a reason nobody is out here honestly…” Tart said with a bit of a frown, backing away from the place a bit before their hand would be quickly grabbed by the dream dragon, their grip light but enough to stop them in their tracks. “Yes I'm sure! We promised that we’d do it together and even if there’s nothing it’s still fun to create memories like this! Don’t worry, we’ll go through it together.” They beamed towards Tart as they said those words without slightest bit of judging their worries, despite the cold air blowing through it felt almost warm and Tart couldn’t help but smile and nod. “Alright… I suppose you’re right, but promise to stick close ok…?” “Of course!”
As they made their way closer to the mansion the first obstacle in their way would become quite apparent if it wasn’t already, that pitch black fence that separated this mansion from the outside world loomed before them almost intimidatingly. Those spikes at the top looking like they could impale anyone in a second if they tried to climb it.
“...Can’t you just fly Nem?” “Yep!” …And all of that would be circumvented with the dream dragon holding onto their friend and with a single gust of wind passing their one and only obstacle. Although almost comically easy, Tart would let out a sigh of relief as they were gently let down, the leaves in what appeared to be a courtyard crunching with their descent. A lonely place with only dead trees that have seemed to stand the tide of time and seem to only have their leaves here to begin with due to the natural coming of winter.
Making their way past it all they see their true objective up close, the door to the mansion stands before them along with the entire place looming almost like a giant looking at an ant. Those dark stained glass windows, the gargoyle statues and that dreadful silence only stopped by thunder and rain, if they wanted to stop now was their chance. Although Nemurin still feels eager as they begin to make their way towards the door on those old steps that creak so loudly one might think they’ll break in an instant, Tart backs away with quite a lot of hesitance. Looking towards the whole place as it feels so incredibly daunting, as if on cue when they look up towards the spectacle a flash of lightning fills their vision for a moment as it shines on a crow statue that lie at the top of the mansion.
“Oh dear…” Is all he could say as he looks towards the place, a cold sweat beginning to wet his brow as his friend notices with a bit of worry and comes over. “Tart, it’s ok. Come on, if anything goes south we’ll leave right away alright?” Nemurin says towards the worried Tart as they lay a hand on their shoulder, him looking towards them a bit meekly and with a bit of worry in their eyes. “Are you sure…?” “Yes, I promise. We’ll be ok!”
Tart nods slowly and the two begin to open the door to the mansion, it incredibly heavy due to its sheer size as an unbearable creaking noise fills the room with them. As it slowly opens they see the inside of the mansion, the darkness from inside feeling almost all-consuming as it was like seeing through the void itself. Tart hesitates for a moment as he looks towards the sight but as he sees his friend’s eyes who seem to still light up from it all, he feels a strange sense of comfort and nods to himself to assure he’ll be ok. “...Let’s go in.”
Although finally confident, what happens next immediately shatters that in an instant, as they go through the door a strong gust of wind suddenly picks up and with a SLAM the door closes behind them. Darkness floods the room as they’re suddenly left alone in the dark, the silence beginning to grow stronger as even the weather from outside begins to become hard to hear. Tart lets out a little yelp and immediately goes to try and open the door. “I-it’s locked…?” He tries the door multiple times with much desperation but for naught, a cold sweat begins to wash over him once again. As he comes to the realization he begins to shudder a bit, they were trapped in here and…at the moment there was no way out.
“...No, I can’t be scared. Nem is with me…” Although it would’ve been quite in character for him to go and tremble by the doorway terrified and hoping for it to open, he wouldn’t as he pushes himself on despite that. Nodding to himself as he looks towards Nemurin with a look of determination, “We… can do this. As long as we’re together.”
He nods back with a warm smile, “Yeah! If anything this is a good thing hehe.” “A good thing…?” “Well! Something must be here and if there is, maybe we can find candy!” Still despite it all, all of the frightful things seemed to only excite the dragon further. As their tail swayed and their eyes glowed they seemed almost blinded by the prospect of getting candy, Tart couldn’t help but find it… almost astonishing that it was moving them forward to such an extent. It was kind of cute but at most it confused them, they couldn’t help but cock their head as if they were told the strangest thing they’ve ever heard “...Yeah, maybe we can…?”
Looking around the place now they could see it looked even more depressing on the inside, faded paintings lined the walls of pokemon they couldn’t recognize along with shattered lights that had been long since been snuffed out. As they walked, the torn floorboards creaked and the dark oak that lined the walls and flooring made the abyssal darkness even more hard to see through. There were remnants of what was likely quite the fancy place with old and worn bookshelves and little tables but they were so foregone it just made the place look all the more decrepit. Since they were in the what was likely the main hall they could see the sheer massiveness of the place, spiral staircases that had long since broken down to at least five floors above along with the room they were in stretching in what felt like a small house. It made them feel… small, with the lack of sound too they felt alone. But strangely enough one thing stood out among the rest, on the table lied a single gothic lantern of shining lime green. The sole light in the room that was such a contrast to the drap atmosphere it was almost impossible to miss.
“Oh? What’s this?” Nemurin said as they approached it along with their friend, slowly as they made their way past the various couches that lined the place and towards the center of it all on a single untouched glass coffee table. As Nemurin reached a hand out Tart would stop them, “Are you sure we should be touching that? It looks a bit strange.” His voice filled with worry, they’d only respond with a little chuckle as if the answer were obvious. “Of course, it looks so shiny after all~ We can keep it if we can’t find candy!”
And with that they decide to lean closer towards the lantern, reaching a hand out as the second they touch it the light inside begins to react and shine brighter. With a boom of thunder an even more booming voice follows that makes Nemurin jump back with a little “eep!”, “Who dares touch my lantern?!” The voice sounds deep and it bellows as the light begins to pour out of the lantern almost like a liquid, it beginning to take the shape of what appears to be… a litwick? As they come out their small appearance is followed by not just one of them but ten, despite their ominous voice before they seem to appear to actually have childish smirks on their faces as if they were planning something devious.
“Who dares awaken my slumber ooooo!” They say in unison as they swirl around them, Tart immediately letting out a yelp as they hold onto Nemurin while trembling a bit. Closing his eyes as he keeps repeating to himself, “You’re just seeing things, you’re just seeing things!” Although he doesn’t see what happens next, Nemurin does. The room begins to be illuminated by lime green lights almost like torches used for lost souls as the furniture around them begins to float as if in a state of stasis undisturbed by the petty rules of gravity.
“W-wah! What are you???” Nemurin says startled themselves as they look at the strange sight, it begins to make them scared as well as the ghosts merely chuckle at their fear. Although it was actually in all reality a bit cute to see, the initial shock of seeing such a site was much stronger than that by a long shot. “Hehehe, look sister! They’re already trembling!” “Ooooo, I haven't had this much fun in centuries!” But their voices after that seem almost child-like as they speak amongst themselves as if almost happy to see another face in a place like this. “I-I can’t look! What’re they doing Nem??? Are we gonna dieeeee?” Tart trembles as the ghosts perk up at their worry, as if finding it almost amusing they reply in response. “Of course! If you don’t we’ll take your souls and you’ll be trapped with us for all eternity ooooo!”
“Wawawa…. N-nem it was nice knowing you…” He cowers in fear with a little whimper, it is almost a bit embarrassing to see them in such a state but their fear didn’t really make them think about that. Nemurin didn’t think it would go THAT far but not knowing what they would or could do was definitely quite overpowering considering they were floating around them like genuine ghosts. “Buuut if you listen to us just maybe we’ll be merciful oooo!” Tart yelps again back out of Nemurin’s hands as one of the ghosts appears from behind, emitting a chuckle as they all begin to slowly lean towards them in close formation. It appeared almost ominous as even Nemurin began to back away, their sinister forms approaching ever closer with devious grins that clearly didn’t have the best of intentions. He was beginning to realize the gravity of the situation and how bad things could get, this place was haunted and with them trapped with such beings who knows what they could do. They were beginning to tremble and before they realized it….
“R-run!!!” The dream dragon would yell as the two of them began to be chased by the ghosts from behind, running as fast as they could their trail on them would remain the same. All it doing is illicting a couple chuckles as they went along with it all, “I’m gonna catch you and I'm gonna get you oooooo!” “Run mortals run! You’ll be all ours soon enough ooooo!” It sounded almost… goofy with how they practically were stifling their own laughs with their own words but the two who were running were downright terrified as they went through the dark corridors now lit up by candelabras with emerald light. It was like a wild goose chase as they went in circles being chased, their exhaustion actually not slowing them down as the adrenaline from all of it was definitely aiding in their “escape.” In all honesty… They didn’t know where they were going in the slightest and after a little while they began to take a set path away, seeing a strangely open door downward into the mansion.
“T-there! Nem, we can escape there!” Tart would call out as they both ran towards it with a nod, not thinking about it they ran inside and… from how fast they were going stumbled down the stairs almost humiliatingly all the way to the bottom with a THUMP. As they reached the end they’d hear the sound of a door being locked from above, the sole light illuminating the way being sealed in an instant as it closed leaving them in pitch black darkness.
“G-guh… That didn’t end well… Where are we…? Nem…? Where are you?” Tart would call out as they felt around the darkness, it all consuming as practically nothing could be seen inside of it. They wouldn’t realize it till later until it was too late but they’d hear a yelp from Nemurin as they by accident stepped on their foot. “H-hey! Watch where you’re going!” “Oh there you are! T-thank goodness, i couldn’t see you sorry Nem….” Their voice sounded a bit guilty as they apologized to the dragon, letting out a nervous chuckle as a hand felt around before patting them on the head. As they let out a little squeak Nemurin would comfort them, “Don’t worry, we escaped them! Those ghosts can’t steal our souls while we’re in here!” His voice was proud of them and if they could see they’d see them puffing their chest quite cutely but since it was too dark Tart could only imagine and hear them making the motion. It… did comfort them a bit but he couldn’t help but not agree with a part of that. After all, one big thing did confuse them… “But then why did they lock the door….?”
“OH, uhhh… Um… I didn’t think about that.” As Tart states the obvious Nemurin can’t help but find themselves at a loss for words, trying to think about it a bit as they simply in the end let out a sigh. “Well! Least we got eachother right?” “Y-yeah! We can get through this, though…. One thing does worry me.” Nemurin tilted their head as Tart sounded like they were thinking about something that was causing them quite a big deal of stress. “Hm? What is it?” “Isn’t… the basement the last place we want to go in a scenario like this?” Although Tart’s question was genuine and his worry just as much, the dream dragon couldn’t help but let out a chuckle and pat them on the head once again. “Silly Tart! That only is a thing in movies, i’m sure we’ll be fine~”
With that they’d look around and begin to examine their situation, the room was engulfed in darkness to the point they couldn’t see themselves so they’d have to rely on their other senses to make their way in this room. As they decided to hold hands… they began to make their way forward slowly, being careful to not lose their footing and making doubly sure they don’t lose eachother in a place they can’t even see themselves. As they proceeded onward they’d realize this place was actually quite big, almost unusually so as they kept going deeper down without end and there seemed to be almost no obstacles impeding their progress. It was… strange, “How have we not reached a wall, it’s been at least ten minutes….” Tart remarked as they went onward throughout the place, Nemurin slowly nodding as they continued onward.
Going through the place… The air began to feel cold, it was clearly not a straight path at this point and most definitely not a normal room. It was like they were delving into a cave as the path kept making them go downward, the oxygen too became thin truly like they were making their way underground. And although that was tolerable and understandable, that frigid cold felt not as much. It was FREEZING, in there and enough to make them begin to shiver despite both having much fur to protect them from naturally cold weather. It was unnatural and in a place like this even with the season what it currently was, it didn’t make sense in the slightest. A pit began to form in their stomach as they realized the unusualness of this entire situation, they entered a strange mansion tied to an eerie rumor and were chased here by ghosts that came from a strange lantern, everything about this place felt abnormal and like all they were doing now is delving deeper into it all.
Tart’s grip tightened around Nemurin’s hand as that fear began to sink in, “Are we going to be trapped here?” “It’s too early to think that Tart, i’m sure we’ll find something eventually… Oh…?” And right as they say that something does end up appearing that didn’t make them feel any more comfortable than before. It was a lime green light that danced the room in a familiar pattern that was unmistakable, although its light was a welcome sight as it contrasted the dark corridor it was more the indication of what could be ahead that made it not all that pleasant. A strange glowing spider web lied in front of them, giant as it stretched to the ceiling and ornately knitted with thick silk that glowed the exact same color as the strange litwicks from before.
“It’s a light but…” Nemurin would say as he looked towards it, approaching as Tart held them back quickly after. “Don’t, we don’t know how sticky that could be.” He let out a sigh but did end up nodding their head as they slowly began to make their way further inside of the strange basement. Although originally dark after a little the strange spider webs would begin to crop up quite rapidly, spreading like an infestation as the walls of the place actually became apparent with the light and descending deeper became difficult without touching any of the webs. They were able to do it with just a bit of caution but their speed was significantly reduced by it along with a few close calls where they just barely missed touching the webs. Small and big, they lined the place like wildfire and although they looked beautiful a sense of dread could be felt from them with it simply being proof that something did live down here. And with how many there was and how fresh the webs seemed to be, that thing must still be down here.
And soon enough… They’d find the source of the spider webs as they covered their mouths to stop a gasp. At the end of the grand room lied a gigantic spider web, much bigger than the rest and much more ornate in the symbol of what was like a star. A single galvantula on it weaving it without a care, they were… a bit strange in coloration as instead of the natural yellow they were a deep purple and glowing green. They stood out quite a bit from that and they were themselves massive in size, likely at least eight feet as their web was at least sixteen. As they hummed a strange whoosh would sound as a couple of litwicks teleported in front of them spider. The exact same ones as before as the spider looked at them with a bit of a devious grin.
“Sooooo… How did it go? Did you have fun?” The spider said, their voice a bit feminine and a tad childish. It sounded almost intimidating and booming though as it was the only sound they’ve heard in a while having they’ve been deprived of even a woosh of wind in this place. “Yes yes! It was suuuper fun, we gave em a real scare so bad that they couldn’t help but run screaming!” “Aaaaah! Oh no don’t take our souls! Pfft ahaha! It was hilarious!!!” Letting out a merry laugh the litwicks began to talk amongst the spider with smiles, Tart looking at the sight with a bit of a flushed face as he could already tell from a distance… He was being laughed at.
“Where are they now? You didn’t let them escape right? We DID have a deal after all mwehehe~” They gave a strange giggle as the litwick begin to do the same in response, their little hands going over their mouth as they were amused by it all. “Of course not! We wouldn’t wanna scare you out of a meal!” Those words made Tart’s heart sink a bit as they backed away almost instinctively, Nemurin holding their hand as they gave a little silent smile. Him nodding as they continued to watch the scene unfold. “Phew good! Does that mean they’re here now?” …And those words made their heart sink again. “Yep! We just gotta find them. …And those did more.
“N-nem, we gotta get outta here! They’re crazy…!” They whispered to them, their voice trembling a bit as they looked behind them for the way back. “Y-yeah! Let’s go!” With those words the two would immediately begin to make a sprint as all they could hear behind them is the words, “Oh? So they want to run? Hehe, now I get to be a part of a chase too!” Did… they already know they were there? “Do they already…? No! I can’t focus on that, we gotta go!”
Rushing through the various cobwebs they’d hear the sound of chuckles and giggles from behind, looking their way for even a second would begin to show them a similar sight as before. The glowing litwicks were chasing them once again and along with it too a spider was crawling on the ceiling as it made its way towards them!
But… even with their best efforts getting through such a place was definitely easier said than done and that wasn’t just because of the pace the pokemon behind them were going, it was actually because their terrain was most definitely not in their favor. To make matters worse a second wind didn’t seem to be coming from being chased once again, they… couldn’t go as fast as they normally could.. As they rushed through the darkness scattered by lime light they knew the outcome would be clear unless something changed, even as they pushed themselves those ghosts and that spider drew nearer by the second. “G-guh, we’re not gonna make it in time Nem!” “K-keep running w-wah!”
With that yelp from Nemurin in almost comical fashion the two of them tripped together into a spider web, stumbling towards it as they fell onto it like a bug stuck in a trap. Staring hopelessly at the site in front of them as they were forced to see those ghosts and spider come closer without them able to do anything, “Cmon cmon! Unstick unstick!” Tart frantically called out but to no avail, the web was too sticky and it was like they were stuck to a glue trap. Nemurin had already given up and was too scared to speak, simply closing their eyes as they looked away from the sight of their soon to be captors leaning closer, “I-is there really nothing we can do…?” They said to themselves as their hopeless struggles would be met with more chuckles, their fears and desperation merely something of a fun game to them as they all had wicked grins on their faces. Before Tart realized it they were looking away too from the sight as they came closer, unable to look as he was absolutely terrified of what they would do.
“Hehe we didn’t even have to trip them ourselves or anything, how humiliating!” “Indeed, it was even more fun to see a second time!!!” The litwicks said as they saw their catch stuck in a web, helpless as they hopelessly whined and murmured pleads for help. A giggle could be heard from another voice unlike theirs as it approached and with a little bounce would make its way onto the web. “I think I understand why you found it so fun, it was quite fun for me too~” It was the spider and seeing them right next to them they truly saw the difference in size, opening their eyes for a moment and seeing their towering form on the web would make them both yelp and continue to look away. Their dreadful glowing green eyes that pierced through them with the intent to make them theirs forever, those terrifying mandibles that stretched like spears and fangs that stuck out almost like a vampire’s. It was all too much for them, “Please let this just be a bad dream…”
“P-please miss! We didn’t do anything wrong! Truly! We’ll just leave and be on our way!!! Please we’ll do anything?” Nemurin would plead with a squeak but even he knew that at this point something like that was too good to be true. An obvious giggle from them being emitted as they soon came closer specifically to the dream dragon, forced to stare them right in those giant green eyes as they had a smug look on them. “Oh? Anything? And what if what I want is for you to stayyyyyy~?” Their words were genuine and the last part trailed on making them shudder, a tongue lathering over their face for a moment showing an emerald green maw glowing just like their webs. It goes around their face slow covering them in a thick glob of drool that leaves them somehow even more exhausted than they already were. But… looking to their side they knew they weren’t alone, Tart was there with them and they couldn’t give up just yet. They needed to at least… they needed to make sure they escaped. “P-please if not him just take me!” “W-wha? N-no take me! Nem you should be able to escape, b-besides I'm sure I'd be more delicious!” They both bargain with the spider who seems to continue to have that grin on their face. “Oh dear, I didn’t think both of you wanted me to have you so bad~ It makes me really happy actually~” Tart would look confused and a strange sinking feeling would be felt in the bottom of their stomach as if they were forgetting something vital. “Can’t I just have you both~?”
“Wha…” With those words that was the only response Tart could emit, a weak and almost astonished one as he just realized what was likely going to happen now. As he looked to the side he saw the spider loom over his friend’s body with a drooling grin, saliva dripping onto the dream dragon as he simply looked away with a bit of a grunt hoping that this would all somehow disappear like a bad dream. “I think i’ll have you first, although you both look downright adorable it’s just that costume of yours that makes me think you’re…. More appetizing~” “My costume…?” Nemurin would gulp as they heard that, something they merely put on to celebrate the occasion possibly being something now that would seal their fate. It was almost ironic, they came here in celebration for halloween to find some treats and in a way now they’ve become the treat themselves. His heart sank at the next thing he saw before them.
As that maw opened Nemurin knew almost immediately that it wasn’t for a lick this time. As it came closer they’d feel hot breathe wash over them as that fleshy cavern pulsed with each passive gulp almost mockingly. Calling to them, their next meal knowing that one of those gulps would be sending them down. As they leaned closer he tried to move any part of his body, his brain screamed for him to do so because it knew what would come if he did not. But alas, something like that was impossible in this case and right as they were so focused on trying to escape, they wouldn’t notice that maw coming down and clamping around their head with an *omph*.
Flesh obscured their vision from all sides as they tried to cry out, smothered and silenced in almost an instant as they were smushed against the roof of the mouth. They shuddered as they felt their body begin to be caked in a thick layer of translucent saliva, that tongue teasingly easing their head to adjust to the gullet that pulsated in front of them. Their next destination. They wouldn’t have much time to admire it as their predator was much more impatient than most, their body eased in with those mandibles as they were nudged against that throat with a little whine.
Inside of there they weren’t the only thing that was muffled, the outside world was as well and instead was replaced with GLRPS and GLRKS of a throat trying its best to make its meal head on its way as fast as possible. Each one rocking their entire world as they were nudged deeper inside, more of their body beginning to disappear to the horror of their little carbuncle friend. As they went deeper a new sound would begin to make itself known, a low murr that made the walls around the dragon vibrate heavily. Softening the muscle around them as it cradled their form it was apparent immediately what it was. It was a murr from their predator, a content noise that showed they were enjoying this quite a lot. Although the situation was incredibly dire and he didn’t know if he was going to escape, he couldn’t help but blush feeling flattered that he was a good meal to warrant such a thing from them.
It wouldn’t take much longer till that last slurp came of their tail and with it a single gulp that would send Nemurin on their way, Tart saw the whole thing. That single GLRP making that bulge in their mouth and slightly their chest begin to slide down as it made their way to the abdomen where it eventually stopped. They disappeared almost completely into the spider where the only remnant they were ever in the outside world at all was the small bulge they made on that bug’s abdomen. His heart sank when he saw them let out a content sigh and soon turn their sights on them, “That’s one down… Now one to go~” They said with a devious grin on their face, licking their lips in an almost mocking manner to get the last remnants of Nemurin’s taste on their tongue.
“P-please, can’t we talk about this? I’m not tasty, you’ve had enough already!!” Tart would begin to say as he pleaded with them, their giant body slowly approaching as that bulge at the back lightly squirmed signaling the presence of their friend inside. “Oh? Weren’t you the one earlier who said you were oh so delicious? What’s with the sudden change of heart? Don’t want to join your friend~?” They let out a chuckle as they approached and slurred their words, getting right up in their face as they gave a biiiig lick across their body. Drenched in a glob of saliva they’d feel their energy sapped in an instant, all of it dripping from them as their form was left in a slimy wet mess. “G-guh, p-please! Blegh… God I can’t even move…” He groans and lets out a heavy pant from the sudden lick, unable to look them in the eye as all of the exhaustion he’d been building up to this point hits him at once. He’s… been pushing himself a lot to this point, all the running and all of this commotion wasn’t good for a body as weak as his. Running on fumes, even if he wasn’t trapped in that web he’d already be long gone.
“Aww… Too tired to even fight? What a shame, I really love your flavor so i’m sure i’ll thoroughly enjoy you too~” “W-wai-” With that the maw clamps over them as well and with how small Tart’s body was, all it takes is a single slurp of the tongue to have them fully engulfed in that slimy prison. As they’re brought inside almost immediately they’re tossed around like candy, smushed against their cheeks as a cacophony of glurps and glorps could be heard inside of the spider’s mouth. “W-wah! H-hey! Mmph!” Tart can’t even vocalize his protests as whenever he even tries his mouth is filled with saliva and he’s promptly tossed to another area of their predator’s maw.
When they said they found him delicious, that… was an understatement considering how they truly felt. Tart was one of the most delicious things they’ve ever had in their entire life or I suppose in this case afterlife, so much so that even heavier murrs vibrated around them that threatened to shake them almost like an earthquake. The longer they stayed the more exhausted they felt, reaching new lows as they felt every bit of energy sapped from them as they were put in a practical daze. Only able to let out a weak whine as he stayed in there for what felt like an eternity.
Though of course, it wouldn’t last forever as eventually he’d feel himself near that throat and with a single quick GLRP, he was thrusted down to join his friend. “Farewell little ones, I had a lot of fun~” He didn’t even notice it as he was put in such a daze his head was spinning in circles from events that happened minutes ago, not even noticing his body slowly being eased down that lime green flesh and into a single sphincter that opened before them. As he was thrusted inside of the small sack he’d hear a voice call out to them as he was immediately brought back to reality.
“T-tart! Oh thank god, there you are!” Before he even realized it within the stomach of the spider he’d be brought almost immediately into a hug by his friend. That warmth being the lone true light he felt inside of the strange place he had found himself in. “N-nem! Oh dear… You’re ok! I was so scared…” His voice shaking, he looks in the area they’ve found themselves in. The tight abdomen of the spider, it was a tight slimy haven that was just barely enough room for the two of them. Walls covered in slimy mucus and shining a brilliant green that practically pulsated as it kneaded and rippled across the two. As they talked amongst themselves they could barely even hear their own voices from the obnoxiously loud sloshes and churns of a stomach constantly mixing their current meal inside. This… was where they were trapped and from the looks of things… There was no way out.
“Is this… really the end?” Tart said hopelessly as he looked at the area around them, the walls smushing into them as they let out a loud glorp. “I-I don’t know Tart, t-though I will say one thing.” “H-huh? What is it Nem?” “...I’m just happy that I'm at least here with you.” “Same… At least… We’re with each other…”
With a warm hug, the start of their long stay within the strange spider would begin. A dreadful journey that started off innocent but became quite deadly, it all ended there as they realized that they had actually brought this upon themselves. Following such a dangerous rumor in such a shady place… it was only natural something like this would happen. At least in the end, they had each other.
“All mine~ Oh you’ll be so fun to play with~ For all eternity~”
Another story ting I did for
ShadowDust It was a halloween thing oooo spooky, working with spiders made me think of another friend I know :p
