"You're clearly cheating us out of our humanity!"
This got me think of Dark Souls. Lots of dialogue there about humanity but deep in the lore there itself, humanity ends up simply being the modern word for a piece of the Dark Soul itself, something anything can pick up enough of and "become human," including monsters, rats, and dragons.
I like to think in the future, these bodies of flesh we call "human bodies" can one day be mold into whatever forms we want and still be "human."
