J-399P lived in a country on their home planet that existed under tyrannical rule, where the typical individual simply just lived day to day under the thumb of a higher power. J-399P dreamed all their life of escaping all of this, to go into space and leave the planet behind. That was all they ever wanted and dreamed of.

Finally, after years of desiring this, they managed to sneak aboard a vessel heading into space. However, a malfunction occurred, and J-399P would soon be adrift in space. Their lifelong dream had been so close, and as they floated within the void, their final thoughts turned towards the despair and wishing that it wouldn't end like this.

It was then that a fairy appeared before them, offering to grant their wish. They would accept, and in turn transformed into a new shape.

They had become Fairy Hero Twinkling Nebula Princess Starbright. Traveler of the Cosmos and seeker of those sending their wants and desires to the stars.

The basis for Starbright is a triple play between The Little Prince, Twinkle Twinkle Light Star, and Starlight Starbright.
