One year later and I still did not comment. It's such a strange but wonderful interpretation, one of the best of "Love Will Tear Us Apart" I've ever heard. Because it's so different. Somehow cold and unexpected. It reminds me a bit of the album "Pop Artificielle" by Lassigue Bendthaus (Uwe Schmidt, also known as Atom Heart and Senor Coconut). Bizarre electro cover versions. I like cover versions of this kind - not trying to copy the original track, but being different.
