A first look at Avalon City, setting of my graphic novel.

The city is a dystopian wonder of technocratic prowess, where freedom is traded for security and the rich live in total peace and comfort, while the poor eke out an existence in the lower levels.

Behind every corner there's a story; behind every alley, a broken dream; within every tower, a secret. Tread carefully, friends, for here there be legends and monsters alike.

When I first conceived of the city (which is meant to exist in our own world, about 100 years in the future) I felt inspired by this song, hence the title:
