ATTENTION: SCAMMER ALERT! I just received a malicious phishing attempt via Note from the user 
Jalwagames pretending to be FA staff.
They sent a FAKE verification link that claimed my account was blocked.
The fraudulent link is NOT from Fur Affinity and is designed to steal your login information and permanently compromise your account.
DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS that do not start with www.furaffinity.net. If you receive a message like this, immediately report the user via a Trouble Ticket to help protect the community.

Other things to know:
- FA staff members will only send warnings using the
furaffinitystaff account.
- The official FA staff account has an admin shield icon on its username.
- FA staff members will never ask you to click on suspicious URLs. They will explain the issue directly in the note.
- FA staff members do not ban users without reason.
I've heard about the same scam on DeviantArt. Just like FA staff, DA staff will never send suspicious links or ban people for no reason.
