A map I made about a year ago for a homebrew D&D setting of mine called Solten! It is a lot more complex than my map of Uwa shown here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/57922508, but it's still not great. When I made it, I was proud of myself for thinking of plate tectonics and planning them out in advance, but it didn't really help a lot when your biomes are still all over the place and inconsistent, and rivers don't behave at all how rivers are supposed to behave. I also think I have a better way of drawing forests and mountains, so we may see that on the next one I do.

Love This. I have a custom map on world anvil for my Custom D&D campaign 'Marketh Real Of Calamity' The fundamental premise is that every 1000 years a global mass extinction happens leaving the survivors to pick up the pieces. your party is living in year 953 of the 27th cycle. will the party try to stop the cycle or become part of it? maybe they will self preserve and try to rebuild society for themselves in the aftemath?
the choice is theirs
the choice is theirs
ive run the setting multiple times since i wrote it. one party created a global coalition of mages to basically catch and teleport the calamity to another plane, but the strain to do so killed the entier coalition outside of the party wizard who was simply organizing the effort.
