It's Spooky Month! Last year I did a bunch of classic horror story characters as pokemon: Count Dracula, Victor Frankenstein, Jekyll and Hyde, etc...

I decided I wanted to do something like that again this year but with a little twist. First of all, instead of horror I decided to go a different direction capturing another side of Halloween: Fun (with some scariness mixed in)
This year the theme is Fairytales.

I had an idea I wanted to explore:
These pokemon are NOT meant to be taken as the characters from their respective fairy tales, these are kids who are wearing costumes that allow them to embody the story for which they are dressed as and gain abilities associated with their character/story, so a character might not just be the character who they resemble but a culmination of the entire story, and stories can be very powerful!

Charlton was an orphaned Chimchar raised in a Rillaboom family. He found that he did not always fit in with his new family despite his best efforts to be like everybody else and feel like he's out of place despite his family's love for him. Still he found things he himself is good at and do things his family can not do in order too help. He is a skilled mimic and is very capable with craftsmanship, creating his own tools from parts he finds.

Charlton embodies the spirit of the story Tarzan of the Apes

Tarzan is a beyond humanly skilled wild man who's parents were a noble English Lord and Lady marooned in West Africa when their crew mutinied. His mother died when he was an infant and his father was killed by a gorilla who then adopted Tarzan and raised him as one of their own.

Tarzan is a skilled tracker and hunter, has super human strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and has not only wrestled Gorillas but has also managed to wrestle Dinosaurs!?

He is also inhumanly intelligent despite being raised feral and later rejecting human society. He speaks the language of apes but also over the course of his adventures learns: English, French, Dutch, Finnish, German, Swahili, Arabic, Ancient Greek, Latin, Mayan, and the language of Giant ANT MEN!?
