Thank you :D Yes, it is very simple on purpose. I wanted to express my thoughts on these themes in a minimalistic way, so I'm glad that you can see the meaning behind it, despite it being really broke down to the essence. Also being burned out by everything kinda played it's part into this minimalism as well. Really want to draw a detailed one again. I have a lot of unfinished drawings collecting dust but life fucks up my creativity (well everything honestly). I feel like loosing myself right now. It's hard to explain, maybe you know that feeling. I hope that I get a little energy boost on the weekend to work on the unfinished drawings.
Ah, I personally love such simple and symbolic works! I used to draw a lot of these years ago (including the ones with a similar idea and composition :D), and now I'm trying to find a balance between detailed and laconically stylized style, again. Burnout also affects this, it's so hard to find the energy for art when you have little energy at all, so yeah, I understand and relate. Hope it gets better for you ~
Same man! Symbolism, symmetry and simple feels calming and healing sometimes. When your mind is a mess, these kind of drawings are a stabilizer. They are calming, not to cluttered and somehow offer a little moment of serenity while also transporting a lot of meaning (at least for the individual that drew them).
Hah yes! Some of our symmetrical/symbolic drawings are similar in some way (composition and idea wise) but at the same time completely individually different (style and character wise) :D But I really love that we express feelings on these topics in our own different ways while somehow visually/mentally meeting at some point! (love the word iaconically btw. Never heard it but it fits really good for describing these kind of drawings.
Yes burnout is fucking awful. Especially when it's going on for years (or your whole life basically). But I don't have to tell you, you live it as well :'D I'm just at my wits end. Thank you for your wishes but it won't ever get better. I'm pretty sure of it. All the mental health problems I have are systemic and a reaction to this artificial human made bullshit system. As long as I have to live in this fucked up world/society as a neurodivergent and highly sensitve person it won't ever get better. I accepted it. This life is just a short phase. It will end sooner or later and after it I hope something better will come (or maybe nothing.. but better than this). Hope it doesn't sound to depressing but I'm tired of fake positivity (of course not related to you!)
