This is yet another piece that was assembled from old (thus far unused) fragments that have been sitting around for a while (the oldest of them dating back to 2000). Most of it is perhaps somewhat random (and perhaps rather dumb) humour, and is more or less self-explanatory, except for a couple of references that sharp-eyed readers might recogise as being inspired by Anthony Burgess' dystopian 1962 novel "A Clockwork Orange". Beyond Burgess' creative use of the word "Idlewild", there is also a bit of further, background trivia on the term that I felt like I should share, for those, who may not be immediately aware, specifically that (paraphrasing Wikipedia and several other sources):
"Idlewild is an American variant of Idyllwild, a commendatory name for a resort, suggesting vacation and unspoiled nature.” Idlewild originates from the novel, “Anne of Green Gables,” by Lucy M. Montgomery in 1908.
Also, for those in-the-know, "Idlewild" was the original name of John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York (IATA code: JFK)
I still consider myself lucky to have flown in and out of JFK several times before the old flying saucer-shaped Pan Am Worldport was torn down a few years back.
