Eamon,there really was a Toho Studios film about a gigantic Jellyfish from outer space,called "Dogera the Space Monster".

The creature eats anything made of carbon,from coal to diamonds-and there was some cops vs mafia diamond thiefs action along with the Earth's military and scientists vs Dogera-wasp vemon was used to kill Dogera.

And let's not forget the giant Squid,Crab and Jungle Turtle from Toho Studios "Yog,Monster From Space,and huge Kaijus that look like muppets on the old Daiei Gamera series.

Yes,I love Godzilla and Gamera too Eamon-along with hentai and porn.

Well, There was always the Super Metroid, although it is not technically a jelly fish, it only looks like one.

Ah! Right, that's probably what this reminded me of.

Video games don't count. Anyway, the closest I've ever seen was a human -sized jellyfish kaiju called
"Pink Jellyfish" from "Kikaida." And yes, it was a female.

That's an impressively well-drawn jellyfish. I'll keep it for future reference. :)
