Crossing the Atlantic ice-pack on one of the few remaining nuclear icebreakers, through the dark and cold, across the bones of Europe and Western Russia, he had finally arrived. The general transmission had gone out almost a year ago, bouncing radio off the ionosphere to get global coverage, announcing the findings of one of the only two remaining radiotelescopes from Earths past heights. But now his trek to Kalyazin was complete, from the North American eastern seaboard, as RT-65 prepared to receive the video testimony of what might be the last humans left in the universe.
