Some examples of the Willorian mushroom species that can grow from the lower back of Langurhali.
Langurhali lack a liver, spleen, pancreas, bladder, kidneys, mammalian reproductive organs and gallbladder. The function of most of these organs takes place in one uniquely-Willorian organ that's about the size and shape of a normal human liver, only with many chambers within it for filtering everything out of their food and drink. This organ sits at the end of their intestines, which are abnormally long and absorb almost every bit of the food they eat. What isn't eaten is cleaned out at this specialized organ that essentially evaporates any unused nutrients or toxins that may enter the Langurhali's body. Anything that isn't completely dissolved in its powerful acids gets used as fuel for the growth of fungi that grow from their lower backs, or is turned into a toxin then expelled through them. The fungi can appear as many different Willorian species, depending on what is being expelled. Some can even be broken off and eaten. Langurhali bodies are like nutrient rich soil for fungus and even other plant life; if a seed or spore comes into contact with a Langurhali's wound, it can easily grow from it if left alone. But the lower back is reserved for growing what is unused within their bodies. Mostly this doesn't inhibit their movement, as the growth tends to happen while they're sleeping and they fall off early in the morning when they wake. But for nocturnal Langurhali, they can be cumbersome. Breaking one off early is fine, it will just grow another in its place until all the unwanted material is expunged.
Cultivating this fungi, depending on the species, can yield foods, medicine, even construction materials!
