The year this was drawn, I undertook a major change in my life by getting myself a new job. Over time, I was slowed down because I was given more and more hours each month, to the point I had to look for a hassle-free means to draw on my phone at work in the way I do on my home computer. Eventually, I found Pixquare! The following day, I used it to draw a tiny but complete piece of art with my finger right before work and during my breaks, and then to clean it up at home. I'm surprised with how well it came out; it really goes to show you can draw this kind of art anywhere with the right know-how!

Besides the nature of how I made it, this image was consciously drawn as a 16-color "fantasy EGA" image with square pixels and assumed access to the full 64-color IBM EGA palette, previously seen in the Traveler and Elijah pictures, in a lower resolution than the 640×350 mode you're allowed to use them in. The square pixels were by necessity since Pixquare did not support custom pixel aspect ratios at the time I drew it, but I felt like using the bright orange from the extended palette to shade the yellow areas instead of the brown that the notorious default palette gives you. A few days later, I drew a full-body image of this character to give them a proper design, and in doing so made a fuller piece in this fantasy EGA format.
