Oh I went to the petstore today to buy some rat lab blocks.... and instead I ended up with this cute little dumbo boy!

Why? Well.... My boyfriend saw him in the glass, staring at us.... and he looked so much like our other dumbos and a mix of Pepper because he's so young. He wanted to look at him up close and hold him, so we asked the girl.... and the rest was history.

Little Alfredo curled up in our arms and snuggled into my hair on my shoulder. We packed him up minutes later and hit the road.

Mocha will love to have a little boy to hang out with - he's too young and small to go into the big cage (plus he'd knock up all the girls lol).

I'll probably get him fixed in a few months, when he's big enough to hold his own. Mocha's fixed - so she can visit him often to get him used to other rats. He loves his new cage and me and my bf =). He's a talkative and kissy rat. I loves him.

All our rats are named after food or spices, so it makes sense he's named Alfredo, Fredo for short =D.
