I wasn't in a very good mood and I was feeling rather down when I drew this. I know the wings look more like scales. I'll figure out how to do them right eventually. :)

The bigger ones are looking like feathers - they're just going in the wrong direction.
I believe the bottoms of the feathers should point down to the bottom of the wing to make it look more realistic.
I was recently making snake scales http://www.furaffinity.net/view/618229/ and did so by only drawing about two rows of them, then copying and pasting them (and rotating when necessary )over and over again. That way they are more of a regular shape and size. (I didn't have the patience to draw them carefully enough so they came out looking similar.) Of course, this technique wouldn't work too well with non-computerized drawing...
