I'm still practicing my anatomy with drawing, I don't always get it right but I still loved working on this. Here my character Tod is meant to express a playful and eccentric free-spirit. It's spring moving into summer in Australia, which is also a metaphor of myself letting go of old wounds. This drawing is meant to be sweet but combined with cheekiness. My character Tod doesn't take himself too seriously or let hateful attitudes in society get to him. Which is something I'm working on too. And instead I focus on healing myself, learning lessons, kindness, healthier human connection and having fun in life. It's not an easy thing to do, to let go of anger in a world that can be angry. But it's possible and very worth it
