After nearly ten years since his first inception Eridor finally has a new ref. (Formerly The Sapphire Guardian, which is probably more of a title now!)

He's been through a lot of design changes with previous art even before this new reference sheet and I had a lot of ideas I wished to try and changes to work in. I also really wanted to actually have a ref that was flat and displayed colours properly to make future artists work a bit easier, now that I know a bit more about how Ref sheets are supposed to work. Even so, I was unsure if this was a realistic task and so I kept on putting it off. Until now.

dead.akira was thankfully more than up to the challenge of combining old and new aspects of Eridor's design together into a truly stunning and definitive piece of work that I am sure will stand the test of time. I cannot thank her enough for what a fantastic result she's created and I hope you all enjoy his new look just as much. I must also say that Akira was wonderfully patient, fast working and immensely helpful with the creative process and I cannot recommend her enough!

She even went as far as to include a shaded headshot in the sheet, to further distinguish what he looks like in flat colours to how he might look with some shading! All in all a wonderful ref sheet that I am delighted with.
