I played a lot of Bad company 2 recently, an awesome game if i may add, and i thought about how it could look like if it was set in ww2. So yeah, the 4 german "classes" of ze strafbattalion.
I also tried coloring after a while with a few tips and tehniques
steinwill told me about. I kinda like how it turned out.

I loved the original zombies from WaW, i hated all the voice acting they added in. IMHO Trayark and Infi. add too much to there games and it rapidly becomes overwhelming and/or unbalanced. The first MW was good, but the second one was a failure in my book. Then Black Cock came out and it was just a joke.
Carl of dooty black cops :3 tis what I call it lmao
ANYWAY I agree, the original zombies for w.a.w was MUCH better, I have to say that some of then acting it it was abit shitty x3 but in it's own way it was kinda funny lol
but...sadly...waw sucks now...don't get me wrong, the game is fucking amazing, always will love it, BUT everyone hacks in zombies, and multiplayer :<
I couldn't play mw2 or 1 that much, liked waw more

Thinking more into this, the Assault Class would pretty much only have the STG44 and BAR (cuz it only has 20 rounds and is not much of a MG). In place of their Grenade Launchers they would have extra grenades maybe 3-4? or maybe 2 grenades with 2 smoke grenades? Possible some toxic grenades that would be nice to clear out a building or force snipers out of spots!
for the sake of gameplay lets say that all the assault class rifles would be compatible with rifle grenade launchers.
For weapons i would choose the BC2 system where you can choose any weapon regardless of side. The assault class could have a few "heavyer" SMGs like the thompson and the PPSh, while engineers get grease guns and MP18s for example. This wouldnt get any historycal accuracy awards, but it would be much more interesting and entertaining. you know the same way you see russians running around with M-16ns and Americans with vintovkas in BC2.

Never said it had to be historically accurate, I enjoy BC2s mix it up style. The FG42 i completely forgot about that! I'd still keep SMG's to the Engineers though for the sake of the players. I'm also picturing this as a Bad Company 2 Add-on/DLC, not a complete new game. The Toxic grenades would not be like WaW, they would just slowly damage Heath and blur the screen a bit, being more of a tactical weapon rather then a lethal one. I'm sure if EA and DICE did it, it would be exactly they way you and I picture it. Takes would be the same as the base game, like in Vietnam with no actual screen, but more of a porthole.
Mhh they have all equipment from the time around 1944. Except for the Knobelbecher wearing guy with his Gew.43 (I guess he´s a Sniper) they are all wearing laced boots with Canvas leggings, so called RĂ¼ckzugsgamaschen (Retreat Leggings).
You put a high amount of details in this picture, but one thing iritates me. The Sniper has a Shoulder holster for his gun. But the german soldiuers never had these kind of holster.
They only used these known leather holster for the belt.. the only special variant I know of is the Holster for Paratroopers. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll.....d=254204457947

I understand and of course some of the gear is a bit anachronistic and not completly accurate so that it fits the style of the game.
however i did find a commercial holster for the walther PP that sort of resembles the one in the picture: http://luger.gunboards.com/uploaded/Lloyd in Vegas/20073422459_Walther PP 9mm In Holster 2.jpg

You never fail to amaze me when it comes to Military artwork.
Fantastic job once again! :3
As a Battlefield veteran of sorts... BF1942(3) with BC2 would make for an interestingly amazing game!
BF 1943 did very well in terms of sales. I wouldn't be surprised if they started making an actual retailed BadCompany styled ww2 shooter WITH Frostbite 2 (or higher)

Thanks!
To me, a BC2 styled WW2 shooter would be infinite win. People say WW2 has been done to death in games, but to me the only games that came close to how it should be done are Company of heroes and Red orchestra. The problem with the former, although an amasing game, is that its an RTS (though not really a problem, i would love to experience it from a first person perspective), and with the latter is that the engine is showing its age and it doesnt really have destructible environment like BC2 does.
Im kinda stumped as to why this hasn`t been done yet and I actually hope the whole "modern warfare" fad will blow over soon...

I couldn't agree more! There aren't any more words to say for you've taken them right out of my mouth!
D.I.C.E could really have that as another great release title.
I mean during BC2, it had a moment where you're instilled in a ww2 setting, and it seemed to fit rather nicely. It's just.. AUGH! I can just envision it now! They could implement fighters like they did in 1943, so they don't have a problem where you're in a setting/scenario where you're implementing jets (which could be too fast to be contained within a consoled-sized map, if you know what I mean on that.)
And So do I... Though Gulf War/1991 would be nice.. or have a modern day conflict where it's not always Western Nations vs. China/Middle Eastern Faction/ N.Korea/ Russia. There's plenty of conflicts that can be picked up, though some of them will stir controversy.
Either way I hope just as much as you do. I was kinda miffed at all the WW2 games coming out most of the time... But I still didn't mind them at the same time.
