Alright, let's start and introduce some of my collection of characters, shall we? Beginning with who might very well be my go-to designer now, it's more Sapphi works raahhhhh!!
This is my sharkfolk barbarian character, who I play in D&D! Lysandre Eulaian is a roving muscle-for-hire, part of a seafaring information-broker guild that operates by having one representative aboard every vessel that they can. Whether it is a navigator, captain, chaplain, galley chief, or in this lad's case, guard or bouncer - any role will do, as long as there is a warm body stationed there. So, although he is very dedicated to a physically demanding role, he still has plenty of occasion to interact and participate in activities above your average musclehead's duties.
Aside from that though, he is a very content shark! Arises from a large family and tribe of nomadic and oceanic sharkfolk, traveling is in his blood. He tends to go by "Indigo" just by nickname's sake, despite his very much blue tones. x)
He's a big brother type, being the second oldest. Grew up taking that role and looking out for his smaller siblings and interposing himself between perceived threats instinctively. True to nature though, when he came of age to leave the tribe and explore the world, he took this role again on the voyages of more land-suited folk in the very same self-sacrificial mindset - if he's the toughest and largest one present, then he SHOULD be the one wrestling with that sea monster or brawling with those pirates, eh! So, whenever a hand is needed with lending some muscle, he's going to be a common sight.
Sapphi just utterly overcame my expectations for his design, this is one that I really just took a backseat in and only asked for some touches on the proportions or a detail here and there, that beautiful blue hue and speckled patterning? That's all her! And MUAHHH, does that slight shiny texture look so fishy, just so in line with that theme. It's of such quality that we both were rather amazed at how into the 'hyper-rendering' she went, of which I am still so grateful for. And! Let's all appreciate that musculature, the physique being so good, very tasty. Anatomy/10.
Other lovely details being that hefty shark tail for propulsion, and all the various scratches and scars on the body [including the tail! It is also used as a weapon, eh!]; the clothing wear and tear, and tail bags my beloved; the style of hands/feet being so slender and sharp, legitimately my favorite style for those appendages. It emulates the look that this piece of Faen has, very aquatic!
