A poem I wrote that, in case it isn't obvious is written from the point of view of an elephant, and addressing a human. This elephant is asking if humans just view them as something they can just kill to obtain the ivory in their tusks. In a rhetorical fashion. Elephants are, as far as we can tell, very intelligent creatures. I wrote this yesterday into the wee hours of the morning today.
