Even though Shia’s been in recovery, she insisted on running her own fall sale this year to help with the vet bills. So behind the scenes, we’ve been working on TWO themed sales! Why radioactive? To catch people up, Shia’s blood tests originally showed hyperthyroidism. She got a UTI which has been resistant to treatment, and now she’s testing back in the normal thyroid range. It’s very strange, we need to keep a close eye on it. We’re still in limbo regarding her diagnosis & treatment, but we’re burning through savings quickly with blood tests & the UTI treatment. It might still be that we need radiotherapy on top of all of that. (Every visit is 100’s of dollars, and the maybe needed radiotherapy is in the thousands!) Of course picking up your favorite art helps, but also sharing & sending us good mojo helps too (spreading the love costs nothing, but means a lot)- cross your fingers that Shia won’t actually need to be radioactive!
