October 31st, in Grimmoirea, is a particular date, home of one of the main festivities of the year: Morsilim, the celebration of Enferus, the God of Death.
A day for people to gather in remembrance, and a moment to properly mourn your loved ones: who inspired you to become the best version of yourself, who helped you and gave you shelter when the whole country was against you, or more simply the members of your family who passed away, and who guard you from the great beyond.
In this day the veil between the realms of the living and of the dead becomes thinner, and in such an occasion who's alive stands up to protect the souls of the deceased: with scary costumes, to keep away demons and evil spirits from the ones you care, and with a joyful attitude, you can spend the night, sure that who passed on will be looking for you and bless you from their eternal rest.
But the closer you get to the light, bigger the shadows around you become: the cause of your losses will always be a scar in your soul, a lingering shadow that will pursue you all of your life... it's only you, and you alone, who can overcome this darkness in your heart, and live in the light of future, as who you lost would like to see you do.

An amazing commission I got by  Hau-Oli featuring Cameron Rouge, Morpheus Cyanfae, and Princess Lumi Friedlinde; three young souls who lost who they cared about because of the infamous Big Bad Wolf, Hector Von Lupin, and who's shadow lingers on their lives for what he did.
