The Djinnists! They're quite the different sort compared to those Imua has met thus far.
Also thanks to
Dilmir for all the help with the Arabic translations, they're in latin text for reasons that may be clear sooner or later!.. or not! But the arabic is in latin for this chapter.

Whoof!
This one is a challenge! I've managed to get a few broad strokes, but nothing definitive. The fact that they call themselves Djinnists places them in the very WIDE area between Morocco to Bangladesh, but I've gotten a few interesting translations from the Bay of Bengal region.
Here's what I've managed to get...
Al salam alaa hatha il sabah. (Good morning. - Malagasy)
Lyakeen thalik haqan. (Yes, indeed. - Multiple)
Tir'een ma'ana hathi ilsana? (What does Tir'een mean?)
Lil asaf ma athin ya wildee. (Unknown)
Sirna akheeran nir'a binafsna, hatha shay ra'ie'l...ya'nee moo qasdi ina nandam biwijodkee! (The secret of the Hereafter is nir'a binafsna, even shay ra'ie'l...ya'nee is the saint who is born! - Marshalese / Dhivehi)
Lam, majoo mushkila, anee fahma! Safkom tam wath' baytheh qabl tis'a wa ashr sanawat, haan il waqt in tidfa'oon safkom wa qowmna ila alamam. Aslan ahtas an arayih 'ithamee il ta'banah, ala ildunya, bil ithafa ila al sneen alatee marat ba'diha. Bas lah tabsoon ma at'alamtamoney, tamam? (Lam, difficult master, I understand! Safkom tam wath' baytheh qabl tis'a wa ashr sanawat, there is no time in time for safkom wa qowmna ila alamam. Aslan ahtas an arayih 'ithamee il ta'banah, outside the world, bil ithafa ila al sneen outside the marat ba'diha. Just lah tabsoon you at'alamtamoney, please? - Dhivehi)

Well to be more specific the Djinnists come from the population of the Area. Dearborn Michigan, Detroit, and other surrounding areas! It's home to one of the largest arabic speaking populations in the US and so the arabic that is spoken likely comes from a lot of different places, with the addon of decades in the Realm of the Quiet Age.
A lot of the Arabic has been thanks to the help of
Dilmir Wish I could help more but I am working with him on that closely, as this is his culture he wrote years back

Heya! As Patch said, I worked on the Arabic for this part. If you're trying to machine-translate this text (correct me if I'm wrong), keep in mind it's a very quick phonetic transliteration from Arabic to Latin script, from what's supposed to be rough and casual standard arabic with a couple of Iraqi and other regional words thrown in. That plus the fact that I'm not exactly a professional translator, and I'm not surprised that it's not very google translate friendly and being mistaken for other languages haha.
Happy to answer any questions you might have!

Wow, I wonder how accurate Google Translate actually was?
With the use of the word Djinn, I felt pretty sure that we're dealing with regions where Arabic was key influence. But GT simply would not translate the phonetics, no matter how many difference regional languages I tried. It seemed to work with several languages in the Bay of Bengal region, but I wouldn't call it successful.
Can you provide a proper translation of what was said? Or should we wait for that...

Does seem like it's picking up some shared Arabic words from other languages that are commonly written in Latin eg. Malagasy. I can tell you that those few phrases that got translated are nowhere near the original meaning haha. Patch has the original English translation but up to him if he wants to post it.
And yeah the Djinnists' whole deal is that they believe that all the various draconic species are the Djinn of Islamic/Arabic myth, and that the transformation of the world (as far as they know) and the humans within it was the result of of the merging of the parallel realms of Djinn and humans following an aborted apocalypse.

Oh most certainly, I've had Ideas of drekir weaving their own wool into things. Such cultures have not popped in yet but drekir could and in many cultures probably would shave themselves to weave different things for different reasons
There is a culture in the plana of Logáu who has a custom of dens weaving large flags out of their dens collective wool as a symbol of unity for example

In Hawaiian culture, especially prior to the overthrow of the monarchy, all of the noble families made and maintained leis made from the hair of their ancestors. When each child came of age, a single strand of hair would be collected from them and added to the family lei. When you see them in the Bishop Museum, they're surprisingly thick and long, which means they contain a single strand of hair from every member of that family line, prior to the coup. The most powerful ones are called Lei Niho Palaoa, worn only by the Mō‘ī, or Supreme Rulers.
Princess Liliʻuokalani was given hundreds of them to protect, but also so she could speak with the power and authority of all the noble families of Hawai'i. When it became clear to Her Majesty that She was being overthrown and supplanted, She carefully teased out a single strand of hair from each one, and cut it.
This broke the power of the leis, and released the souls of every family member contained within, making them completely worthless to anyone who would seek to use them against the Hawaiian people.

Yeah thanks! I try and keep things flexible, though of course also credit to
