I hope I am not the only one who gets the urge to dance when I hear the sound of an old dot matrix printer, it has a distinctiv,e and I think, very charming sound. And yes, I am aware of the fact that he is, in fact, a cat, more precisely a kitty-cat and that he's performing an action which, in laymans terms, could be described as "dance-dance-dance-and-dance-dance-dance", I do not need this pointed out to me.
I'd also like to say that I was unfortunently either not born or not interested in much except pacifiers during the time of old-school computers and technology. It's very likely I'm getting some details wrong, this is just kind of a tribute to the earlier days of computers, from the perspective of someone from the first generation that can take computers for granted.

Oh yes, those old dot-matrix printers could - and did - make some of the most rhythmic electromechanincal music you could ever want to hear. If you really want to hear a true digital diva, hunt up one of those first daisy-wheel printers. Due to the fact that it generated tones both from the speed of the daisy wheel and from printing, it could often sing duets all by itself. :)
