AFTER THREE TRIES I FINALLY GODD EEET
KAY this took way the hell longer than necessary but I'm kind of happy I took this long to truly solidify both designs? I really wanted to focus on having shapely figures and not just another pair of cookie cutter furry designs in terms of anatomy and whatnot. I have nothing against "Basic" body designs like that but these two really deserved my best and I really tried to come up with something a bit BIT more """original""" but still within the bounds of "cookie cutter furry" so they can get art from other artists without any extra fee

He has a pretty complex wing pattern (what owl doesn't?) but to compensate for that I let the countershading be a very flat white with an orange bib. I tried to make the wing pattern complex in a way an artist can try to completely copycat or be a bit "loose". So long as the primary tail and "ear" feathers are copied he should be recognizable. But JUST to help other artists make sense of how to split the wing design up I gave a second visual of how I layered them (the version with green)

I've drawn this boyo a hundred times by now XD BY FAR one of the most frequently drawn designs I dooo xD I've been making art of this bobcat for a long ass time without too much of a reference because I just have this 3d model of him in my head by now. I struggled once or twice to get his face exactly how I wanted but I am so damn happy how PERFECT he feels design wise to me ^^ I'm glad he finally has a "true" reference sheet, he's been waiting long enough xD
