Soo I decided I really want to try and make a weapon set for the Scout in TF2. I started sketching up some ideas last night and this is what I've come up with so far.
I have some ideas for the secondary but so far they all need tweaking to work.

Remember to consider any advantage and any flaw of that gun. For example make it faster to load and fire, but just a little more powerful than the pistol and much less powerful than the actual scattergun. The kind of gun that could be good only if the scout slows down...and considered the amount of health a scout has, that gun would be good for hardcore players only.
Well, sadly creators get NO say in the stats of their items. But I was thinking it'd be nice to have it as a 8 shot scattergun. But it fires slower and reloads slower. [After each shot he'd have to cock the gun. and to reload he'd be actually putting shells in unlike the scattergun.] It would have NO crits [no capture crits, kritzkrieg crits, or anything. Just like the Mangler]
The Shotgun is Also the Melee weapon. it would allow the scout to switch to his melee faster, but sacrificing random crits, and sacrificing the ability to change his melee when using that shotgun. They're tied together.

Yeah, the design and stats wouldn't match perfectly. But I figure that'd be alright ^^; Then again, I don't get to choose. So valve might do something else with it. For now I just gotta work on creating the models and such. Valve will figure out the rest, if they ever decide to use it
