It's kinda funny how this was the prime ship for Pinkie Pie early in the fandom. Honestly, in theory, I get it. Manic pixie dream girl & straitlaced stick in the mud. Fits perfectly.
I think what makes it so funny to me though is that I'm 90% sure that Pokey Pierce doesn't have a defined character - in the show at least. I think that whole spiel I gave was just a bunch of horse shit. XD
Either or, the idea always stuck with me, so I still like toying with the idea.
Funny how in the end, she ends up marrying someone who is almost exactly like her AND is voiced by Weird Al.
