Hm, so I got a little too into digital painting with this one. Though I am really really happy with how the background came out. :D Yay. Maybe I'll start experimenting more from now on cause I think this came out a lot better than I thought it would.
Hoping that it's everything the commissioner wanted. Also I'll be uploading just the colored figure for his pleasure as well. Put it under a hyena, but he's actually an aardwolf specifically.
This took too long in one sitting. @_@ My back hurts.

With a shot like this, the sun being so large compared to the character sitting - this would be a super telephoto lense close-up, meaning that while the character would look very sharp, the sun and tree would have very out of focus edges, the clouds would look blurred and the tree would be recognizable, but almost not due to mirage.

I thought about making the sun smaller, but I just didn't think it would look as good. Also I tend not to think of things as camera work and more as just.. something creative. Though technically I know little to nothing about actual camera lenses and such, so I guess it just kinda happens the way it happens. lol
