Kawheek, my martial artist character, started in a d20 campaign as a Monk class. The ascetic and disciplined lifestyle of a eastern monk matches pretty closely to the style of the Jedi in Star Wars, so it was inevitable that this picture would happen eventually. I had Lizkay draw it (original at http://lizkay.deviantart.com/art/Ka.....sion-114677421 ) a few years back for fun.
And yes, despite the presence of extra limbs, I still think Kaw would make a great Jedi.

George Lucas did based the Jedi off of old samurai movies from the early 20th century, so as the 'traditional' (as samurai changed a /lot in the centuries they were a thing) samurai mindset does somewhat draw from Chinese martial arts discipline, so this fits quite well. I've also seen Jedi classes in RPG's based off paladins, substituting a Brilliant/Vorpal sword for a lightsaber.
Nice pose, and ell done with the feathers
