Hello everyone!
This is a notification I have to do... My one and only working pal, my PC, is completely dead at last :'(
It's been almost 15 happy years together, running on good old windows 7 max, using SAI first version and wacom intuos pen small for drawing.
Last week my PC only shows me blue screen and make scary scratchy noises, I was fixing it so many times before, and 29 October my PC master who serving my old machine said it's no longer possible to make it work again. It would cost almost as much as to buy new one, every tiny detail in it is too outdated and frayed that it's a miracle it lasted THIS long he said T__T
So this Halloween was really scary for me lol.
It wasn't supposed to be such a long speech, but suddenly I felt real mourning, this PC was my real close friend for more than a half of my life and I miss it...
Anyway. People who had commissioned me now left without their pieces that was near the finish, because the PC has eaten the files contained on D disc where all my arts was stored :(((
That means I should draw them again from WIP screenshots on a new device, I am so frustrated I barely can look on drawing now :'(
IT DOESN'T MEAN I WOULD OPEN A FUND RAISING, or refuse to do my job, and I don't ask for help or else!
But the thing is...
I am relocating right now. My plans was to finish commissions before November and then fly to my new home to start a new life with all debts given away, yet now I need to clench my teeth and try to manage new circumstances.
Sadly, all the commission payments was already spent on airline ticket. I can't refund money and I definitely would need some time on a new place to get used to new PC/lap/anything else I could get to draw again, and to study a new drawing program maybe, if I would not recollect my oldschool setup. So all who are waiting pieces for me would get a patience gifts, and my personal apologies, and for others who were planning to commission me - sorry, later!
Better times should come, it is really a shame for me to fail everyone in a last moment, one of commissions was a Halloween gift, it was on very finish when my PC has died, I was working hard to accomplish it before October 30. And yet... >__<
Ugh... Excuse my depressed emotions and lots of words. Bad things happens. Don't let them bring you down, and lucky time y'all!
Now I should go preparing to my relocation designated on December 10th, hope I will get an opportunity to draw again soon after it! Bye! <3
