This hits hard for me... knowing how many people give their lives for their country, only to be forgotten then pushed aside; dashed to the streets and alleyways as soon as they're not convenient, like all their effort meant nothing to anybody. Like, the moment you become a veteran, you just disappear. Yeah, no one should become overly prideful of their work, but it wouldn't hurt to give them recognition. It's not just a duty, it's a SACRIFICE; people willing to put their life on the line, setting aside all the good things they had or could've had so we can continue to have ours. God Save Our Veterans!
