A dimetrodon and two gorgonopsids have traveled by sea in the hopes of observing the effects of the volcanic eruption up close. The scene set during the Permian period in earth's history, the end of which was marked by a mass extinction largely caused by volcanic activity. This drawing was completed with pen and markers and is based on a short story idea that I am currently working on.
